COACH ADAM'S BIO

Personal Soccer Play:

Adam graduated from Allen HS in 1988 where he lettered two years with the varsity in its birth back in 1987 during his junior year.  Adam was awarded All-District & leading scorer honors for both years.  He was All Metroplex his senior year. 

In college Adam played for the Oral Roberts University new program and as freshman starting striker made top 10 national scoring leaders in NCAA D1. As a sophomore at Oral Roberts, he joined NAIA where Adam was honored as Pre-Season All American and led his team in both goals and assists as well as made the top 20 national scorers.

Adam transferred to Centenary College of LA. (NCAA D1) for his junior and senior years where he played for the Gentlemen Soccer Team.  Adam has two standing records at Centenary's NCAA D1, one for most points scored in a single game (9 points) and his claim to fame record of most game-winning goals in a season with 9 during his senior year. TAAC Champion’s 1991 NCAA D1. 

Adam pursued his soccer career with a move to professional in the years of 1992-97 where he played for Belgium's KSVI Ingelmunster NAC Breda, San Antonio Pumas USL, and the Shreveport Lions. He was the leading scorer in the USL and the Fort Worth Kickers.  Adam is also a proud 3x player to represent Rest Of World during the Legends of Soccer Tournament which hosted 16 countries and their professional and retired WC players in an effort to win the title.

Coaching Experience:

Adam has a National Soccer License "C", coaching youth to college and adults at many levels.  He has proudly represented the Texas Spirit Soccer Club for the last 12 years. His teams have earned numerous awards including State Cup Finalists, Texas Cup Champions, Kansas City Invitational, PPL Champions, Lake Highlands Champions in D1, 2, & 3 some of which have broken into Top 10 nationally ranked.

Past Coaching Experience Includes:

  • Oral Roberts University indoor team
  • Southwest Texas State Men's Varsity and JV teams LSC champions for the first time during Coach Adam's tenure
  • Richland Junior College NJCAA D1.
