Clinton Hollingworth began playing soccer in Pretoria, South Africa. At the age of 16 he made his debut for the Semi Pro Club Team, Arcadia Shepherds. He also played for the State/Provincial team as well as the u/20 National Pool Team while in South Africa. In 1996 he was recruited by West Texas A&M University where he was a 4-year starter. Clinton led the Buffaloes to 2 Conference Championships, 2 Regional Championships and 2 NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances. Clinton also received honors for 1st team All-Conference and Defender of the Year. Clinton holds a USSF “C” coaching license and has 10 years of coaching experience including West Texas A&M assistant, various ages in club level, 3v3, and high school.
