Sid holds a USSF "A" license is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and has a Premier Diploma. Sid is also the head soccer coach at Denton High School. He has guided his "Lady Broncos" team to four District Championships, Four Regional Championships, four State Finals, and most notably, consecutive Division 4A State Championships in 2003 and 2004! His HS overall record is 221- 46- 6 in only 10 yrs. Sid was a "High School All American" at Denton High School in 1973. He was awarded a "Full Soccer Scholarship" to North Texas State University, where he was an” All-American." Sid also holds the school record for most goals in a game, 7, and most goals in a season, 36. He was a first round draft choice of the Los Angeles Skyhawks in 1978 and also played professional football for the Oakland Raiders, where he was the kicker.
