Jrs. Academy

The Texas Spirit Juniors are an important part of our Texas Spirit family. The Texas Spirit Juniors Academy Program is here to provide the most advanced training methods to soccer players ages 10 and under. We recognize that there are fundamental differences between the development of Jr. players and the more mature girls that are 11 and older and play on select teams. At Texas Spirit every aspect of our Juniors Program is designed to protect and nourish our young soccer players in preparation for a successful transition to select. It is our hope that with a program geared to age appropriate development and training, many of these girls will continue to love the game and go on to play with select Texas Spirit teams for many years to come.

Texas Spirit 02 Stark won the Primetime Sports Summer Classic tournament in Carrollton over the weekend of May 8-9. As was the case with the Winter Blast tournament earlier this year, the team again did not lose a game.  In bracket play, the team beat Polaris 6-1 and Mustangs FC 3-2.  In the Semi-Finals they beat SRSA Missimo and went on to beat Solar Murin 3-0 in the Finals. Once again, the team should be very proud of their efforts.  We want to thank the Moms for giving up a part of their Mother's Day to help cheer the girls on.
