2011 King Tut Tournament Silver Champions

Congratulations to the Texas Spirit 96 Girls for their hard earned victory at the 2011 King Tut Tournament. They faced many obstacles and tough opponents for a 2-1, 8-0, 3-0, 2-2 record. The toughest opponent was the oppressive heat. The average temperature for 3 of out the 4 games was 101, with a heat index of 105 degrees.

2010 Roy Ruffell 4v4


U-15 Girls 3rd Place 2010 Roy Ruffell 4v4 Winners

Congratulations to the 96 Red players in their outstanding 3rd place victory in the U-15 Girls division of the 2010 Roy Ruffell 4v4 tournament. Madison, Elise, Julia, Aimi, and Kimberlie had a 3-1, 2-3 record going into the regulation 3rd game. It was a must win situation in order to move on to the next round. They battled their way into the semi-finals by unseating the 1st place team in a 1-0 victory only to face them again in the semi-finals. It was a hard fought, yet disappointing 3-4 defeat, which was not decided until overtime


2nd Place - 2009-2010 Girls U14 Division II PPL


2nd Place

Texas Spirit 96 Red earned the 2nd place trophy

for the Girls U14 Division II of the Plano Premiere

League. They won with an impressive 12-5-1 record

in addition to having the second highest goal differential

within the U14 league.

2009 Roy Ruffell 4v4 Champions

A combination of TX Spirit Red 96 and 97 players went into the Roy Ruffell 4v4 Tournament for the first time together and came out on top.
Julia, Elizabeth, Delaney, Kyra, Abby, Marissa, and Gillian improved with each game. Having to win their 4th game, the girls went out and blasted their way through for a convincing 7-0 victory which carried them onto the 4v4 Championship and winning 2-0 in impressive form.
